Cityline and The PickUp are Hooking Up for WeHo Pride: City of West Hollywood to Offer Free ‘Pride Ride’ Shuttle Service for Pride Weekend

The City of West Hollywood’s free shuttle to-and-from the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station, Cityline Commuter, and the City’s free weekend nighttime and Sunday Funday ride, The PickUp, will get together and become Pride Ride for #WeHoPride weekend on Friday, June 2, 2023; Saturday, June 3, 2023; and Sunday, June 4, 2023. Details about WeHo Pride Weekend are available at www.wehopride.com.

Pride Ride will offer a safe and convenient way to-and-from LA Metro Rail B Line (Red) Service at Hollywood/Highland Station as well as several destinations in the City of West Hollywood. In the City of Los Angeles neighborhood of Hollywood, vehicles will stop on Highland Avenue, just south of Hollywood Boulevard on the west side of the street and make their way into West Hollywood, traveling along Santa Monica Boulevard.

Pride Ride will run beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2023; 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023; and 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Pride Ride will run until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday; Sunday Pride Ride service will run through 1:30 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023.

Pride Ride details are as follows:

From 1 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023 to 3 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023, Pride Ride will provide transportation for the opening night of WeHo Pride Weekend: Friday Night @ OUTLOUD. Ticket capacity has been reached for this event; more information about the Saturday and Sunday OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride Music Festival is available at www.weareoutloud.com. Vehicles will travel along Santa Monica Boulevard from N. La Brea Avenue to N. Robertson Boulevard. Cityline shuttles will run to-and-from Hollywood/Highland Station from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., while The PickUp will continue to operate on its regular schedule, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.

From 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023 to 3 a.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023, Pride Ride will provide transportation for the opening day of the free WeHo Pride Street Fair and Community Stage, Dyke March, and Women’s Freedom Festival, as well as the paid-ticket OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride Music Festival. During these hours, Cityline shuttles will provide service around West Hollywood and to-and-from the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The PickUp will operate from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard from N. La Brea Avenue west to N. La Cienega Boulevard. This is an abbreviated route due to the WeHo Pride Street Fair street closure on Santa Monica Boulevard between N. La Cienega Boulevard and N. Doheny Drive.

From 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023 to 1:30 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023, Pride Ride will provide transportation to the WeHo Pride Parade, which steps-off at 12 p.m. (noon) from the intersection of Santa Monica and N. Crescent Heights Boulevards with a parade route along Santa Monica Boulevard, ending at N. Robertson Boulevard. Due to parade-related street closures, the Cityline Commuter service will operate between the Hollywood/Highland Station and Santa Monica/Fairfax stops between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Following the WeHo Pride Parade – once streets have reopened – The PickUp will run along Santa Monica Boulevard between N. La Brea Avenue and N. La Cienega Boulevard from 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. for access to and from #WeHoPride festivities.

Pride-goers may also take one of several Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) bus lines that connect to the City of West Hollywood. A complete guide to bus lines and service hours can be found at www.metro.net and Metro will post service advisories regarding route changes for Pride weekend at www.metro.net/service/advisories.
